The beads on this rosary are 6MM purple amethyst stones

The beads run the range from pale amethyst colors to deep maroon swirls- very striking colors

I used larger barrel-shaped matching blue sandstone beads for the Pater beads

I drew the designs from photos I took and sketches I made, and I cut each piece out individually by hand with an art knife. These pieces are cut into watercolor paper and backed with colored and patterned art paper and cardstock then mounted on a white illustration board backer and matted in complementary colors.
